Dr. Rahul Ahluwalia

Dr. Rahul Ahluwalia, a native of Raipur did his schooling from the prestigious Raj Kumar College of Raipur where he excelled in not just studies but was also an avid sportsman along with award winning participation in dramatics and inter school debate competitions. He was awarded with “Womack Medal of Conduct” and “President’s Best All Round Boy” trophy on completion of his school tenure. He also holds the national record for highest score in Physics in Class 12th in ICSE Board.
He began his medical education at wardha, the land of Mahatma Gandhi, where he burnt the midnight oil to learn the basics of medicine. He topped his batch in MBBS and was awarded with 3 gold medals. Further on he finished his internship and focused on learning the basic nuances of surgery for which he served the common public at Safdarjung Hospital from 2010-2011.
He entered into Post graduation at Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal where he toiled day and night to learn surgery and serve the needy people. It was in Bhopal where his passion for Neurosurgery lit up like wild fire and under the guidance of Dr. Anjeev Chaurasia, he molded himself to suit the life of Neurosurgery. After finishing his Masters in Surgery, he returned to Raipur and served the needy people here at AIIMS Raipur, following which he got selected for “Magister de Chirurgiae” in Neurosurgery, the highest degree in this world.
He shifted to Kolkata at “Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education & Research” where for 3 years he worked day and night to excel as a neurosurgeon. He has operated over a 1000 cases during his training and is well versed with not just open neurosurgery, but also Endoscopic Brain & Spine surgery. He is the only trained Interventional Neurosurgeon in Central India. To be precise, Dr. Rahul Ahluwalia is a “Comprehensive Neurosurgeon” and can deal with all sorts of neurological disease using medical, surgical and endovascular approaches. He has come back to his hometown to ensure that his people are not devoid of Excellence in Neurological care.
Apart from studies, Dr. Rahul is fond of listening to music and traveling to national reserve forests. He is also a prominent social worker and philanthropist.

I am an avid gamer and prefer to spend my free time playing video games (to hone my hand eye co-ordination). I love to watch movies and love to travel. Theatre has always been my 2nd love and have performed in school and college plays.
